i removed my brackets for two weeks and i got them back again so do not ask why am eating apples with a spoon.
the company booked me and the consultant at sheraton. it is a swanky, very pricey place. some place that i won’t step in on my own volition. and not because am dirt cheap but because am dirt poor.
anyway, the 3 day series of business meetings started at 12 noon today, over some dim sum lunch. i was not able to show the system which my coworkers have labored on for the last 7 days. what a shame! but i did manage to convince the prospect to see me on wednesday.
this part of kowloon has a lovely view of central hongkong. i can see the ifc tower from my window. the view does not come cheap. i had a mini heart attack when the hotel asked me for 1500 hkd as a deposit. gaah! they think i will steal towels, robes and the television set.
this maid is a proud filipina.
