This is the season to be stressed
I cannot help it – I hate this time of the year. I hate the long lines, the congested roads, the short tempers, the rush, the last-minute gift buying and all the brouhahas. I wish I could just skip December and move on to the more sedate January.
I have to confess that I am finding myself cursing out more often and snapping at people. My patience is depleted. I no longer find joy in the haste and waste. The madness. I wish I could just sit down, put my feet up and read stories to my kids. I think I should just go and do that.
